Registration and Try-outs Rescheduled

Due to the rain, Registration and Try-outs for the 2009 Crest Hill Baseball season previously schedule for Saturday, September 13th and Sunday, September 14th will be rescheduled. See below for new dates.

Registration and Try-outs for 2009 :

Registration and Try-outs for 2009 Crest Hill Baseball will be held on Sunday, September 21st. The try-out schedule is as follows:

5 & 6	$50	Sign up: 10am-1pm
7 & 8	$75	Try outs: 10am
9 & 10	$95	Try outs: 12:30pm
11 & 12	$100	Try outs: 10:30am
13 & 14	$125	Try outs: 1 pm

$50 deposit per child & birth certificate required Call Donna (815-744-4054) for more info.

11-year-old Part Time Travel:
Try-outs for 11-year-old part-time travel will be Sunday, September 21st at 3:00 - 5:00 pm.

Friday, August 1st: Mustang Zone Tournament @ St. Joe's Park in Joliet, IL
Crest Hill 12, Mt Vernon 11
Nick Vella went 4-4 including a home run to highlight a 10 run rally for Crest Hill to put them into the semifinals. Matt Taller and AJ Lesure added two hits each and Matt Giaudrone scored 4 runs while Robbie Carter and Austin Male added key hits to contribute to the victory.

Thursday, July 31st: Mustang Zone Tournament @ St. Joe's Park in Joliet, IL
Crest Hill 10, LaFayette Indiana 6
Matt Taller had 3 hits and Brody Chmielewski homered to lead Crest Hill. Nolan Edwards, Kody Block and AJ Lesure each had two hits. Taller pitched a complete game victory. Crest Hill is now 1-1 in the tournament.

Sunday, July 27th: Mustang Region Tournament @ Oak Park
Oak Park 7, Crest Hill 1
Crest Hill fell in the semifinal game on Sunday afternoon. AJ Lesure had two hits for Crest Hill and Nolan Edwards had an RBI. Matt Taller and Kody Block also had hits for Crest Hill. Oak Park advanced to play Channahon for the Championship. Crest Hill received an at-large berth to the North Zone which will be held at St. Joe's starting this Wednesday.

Saturday, July 26th: Mustang Region Tournament @ Oak Park
Crest Hill 11, Merrionette Park 4
Kody Block and Nick Vella had two hits each and Nolan Edwards had 3 RBI's to lead Crest Hill. Robbie Carter, Luke Sheppard, Austin Male, Tyler Nunn and Brody Chmielewski also contributed key hits. Matt Taller and Edwards combined to pitch the victory.

Friday, July 25th: Mustang Region Tournament @ Oak Park
Crest Hill 17, Rockford 7
Brody Chmielewski had 3 hits including a home run to lead Crest Hill to victory. Nolan Edwards and Matt Taller added 3 hits each and Nick Vella had two hits. Edwards and Kody Block combined to pitch the win.

Saturday, July 19th: Mustang 10U Section Tournament at Crest Hill
Crest Hill 17, Coal City 2
Matt Taller and Kody Block had 3 hits each to lead Crest Hill to victory. Matt Giaudrone and AJ Lesure also contributed two hits each. Nolan Edwards pitched the victory throwing a 3 hitter with 7 strike outs. Crest Hill advances to the Oak Park Region which starts on Thursday.

Friday, July 18th: Mustang 10U Section Tournament at Crest Hill
Crest Hill 10, Minooka 2
Crest Hill advanced to the Championship on the strong pitching performance by Matt Taller. Taller pitched a 2-hit complete game. Brody Chmielewski paced the Crest Hill offensive attack with 3 hits including a double. Taller and Nick Vella added two hits each, and Matt Giaudrone doubled. For Minooka Ryan Dibiase and Gavin Pfieffer had hits.
