Number #2 seed DBS brought the DuPage River tournament championship back to Crest Hill in this win over Minooka's U Can Store It, a team undefeated in the regular season. For DBS, Julius Garrett, Matt Chester and Austin Atwood all doubled. Nathaniel Magolan, Morgan Ferguson and Ray Vasquez had hits. Colin Davis got the pitching win and Magolan picked up the save. This was a total team effort for DBS, with many outstanding defensive plays. For U Can Store It, Jordan Jaakkola doubled and singled and Steven Schimanski doubled. Jon Mirabal, Aidan Polaine, Pete Klepec and Jonathan Studer had hits.

DBS bested fellow Crest Hill team PPS in this semifinal nail-biter. Julius Garrett doubled, with Colin Davis, Morgan Ferguson, Eduardo Valdez, Matt Chester and Tommy Craig all getting hits for DBS. The pitching trio of James Epting, Davis and Nathaniel Magolan secured the win. For PPS, Andrew Carlson had two hits. Jarred Bahlmann, Jacob Megrant and Joseph Belton added hits.

This game was closer than the final score, 5-1 going into bottom of fourth inning. Alec Hartsell kept Pizza close, throwing 4 innings. Erik Lakota had 2 hits, while Devan Ban, Alec Hartsell(triple,run), and Isaac Diaz all had 1 hit. For Storage Joseph Ambrozich and Jonathan Studer handled the pitching duties. comeback win for the entire Fat Boyz team as they rallied late in the game and move runners around the bases by playing heads up baseball and hitting the ball to the opposite field. Coach Black's team played hard and had great defensive plays throughout the game. As the bats got hot from the Fat Boyz: the Hartsell brothers and Diaz were hitting balls to the fence. If you missed this game folks, you missed a great playoff game.

With a great display of pitching and defense from both teams this was a nail-biter. In the 7th inning JM Printers was down by 1 with two outs and the tying run on 3rd. The runner tried to steal home on a passed pitch but a great hustle by catcher Trent Holtz got the runner out at the plate. GREAT GAME.
