Wednesday, June 22nd: DuPage River Bronco Tournament Championship
Don's Body Shop 6, U Can Store It 3
Number #2 seed DBS brought the DuPage River tournament championship back to Crest Hill in this win over Minooka's U Can Store It, a team undefeated in the regular season. For DBS, Julius Garrett, Matt Chester and Austin Atwood all doubled. Nathaniel Magolan, Morgan Ferguson and Ray Vasquez had hits. Colin Davis got the pitching win and Magolan picked up the save. This was a total team effort for DBS, with many outstanding defensive plays. For U Can Store It, Jordan Jaakkola doubled and singled and Steven Schimanski doubled. Jon Mirabal, Aidan Polaine, Pete Klepec and Jonathan Studer had hits.

Tuesday, June 21st: DuPage River Bronco Tournament Semifinals
Don's Body Shop 6, Paradise Pools & Spas 5
DBS bested fellow Crest Hill team PPS in this semifinal nail-biter. Julius Garrett doubled, with Colin Davis, Morgan Ferguson, Eduardo Valdez, Matt Chester and Tommy Craig all getting hits for DBS. The pitching trio of James Epting, Davis and Nathaniel Magolan secured the win. For PPS, Andrew Carlson had two hits. Jarred Bahlmann, Jacob Megrant and Joseph Belton added hits.

Saturday, June 18th: DuPage River Bronco Tournament
U Can Store It 12, Fat Boyz Pizza 1
This game was closer than the final score, 5-1 going into bottom of fourth inning. Alec Hartsell kept Pizza close, throwing 4 innings. Erik Lakota had 2 hits, while Devan Ban, Alec Hartsell(triple,run), and Isaac Diaz all had 1 hit. For Storage Joseph Ambrozich and Jonathan Studer handled the pitching duties. Congratulations to Fat Boyz Pizza on a successful season.

Cory Lelak went 3-for-3, while James Epting, Julius Garrett Eduardo Valdez, Matt Chester and Christopher Valle all had two hits to lead DBS to victory in their opening playoff game. Valdez picked up the pitching win, with Colin Davis getting the save. For Shorewood Family Dental, Armando Placencia had two hits, Nick Gulliford doubled, and Zach Kosterowski and Alden Shreffler added hits.

Paradise Pools & Spas 9, MC Sports 1
For Paradise, Isaiah Zaragoza and Weston Bragg combined to pitch the win stricking out 16 and giving up only 2 hits. Jarrod Bahlman and Drew Carlson each had a single and double. Rj Toth, Joseph Belton, and Isaac Gongalez each had a hit. For MC Sports, Eli Holmes had two hits.

Thursday, June 16th: DuPage River Bronco Tournament
Fat Boyz of Minooka 8, Shorewood Home and Auto 6
A comeback win for the entire Fat Boyz team as they rallied late in the game and move runners around the bases by playing heads up baseball and hitting the ball to the opposite field. Coach Black's team played hard and had great defensive plays throughout the game. As the bats got hot from the Fat Boyz: the Hartsell brothers and Diaz were hitting balls to the fence. If you missed this game folks, you missed a great playoff game.

For shorewood, nick goliford pitched 12 strikeouts in 5 innings and armondo placencia finished with striking out 6 batters for kan sam watts hit the ball for his first time

Julius Garrett tripled and singled while Nathaniel Magolan doubled twice to lead DBS. Matt Chester had two hits and James Epting doubled. Epting and Magolan combined for the win, recording 12 strikeouts. For MC Sports, Robbie Wolfe doubled and singled, Tommy Haddock tripled and Kevin Schoenbeck doubled.

Kan Vending ended the regular season on a high note Monday, winning their third in a row. Matt Clark pitched 4 strong innings, facing only 14 batters, 5Ks, no walks. Danny Walter finished the game and also had a bases clearing double. Joe Pena went 1-1, reaching base all four at bats, scoring 3 runs. For Shorewood Dental, Carson Glenn fanned five, and Armondo Pecenia stroked a opposite field double.

For Paradise, Isaiah Zaragoza Pitched 7 innings striking out 10 and giving up only 4 hits. Jarrod Bahlman, Weston Bragg, RJ Toth, and Jacob King each had hits. For J-M Printers, Tyler Spisak, Anthony Tokarczyk, and Zach Reese each had hits.

Paradise being down four runs in the 7th back to get the win. For Paradise Weston Bragg pitched 6 innings striking out 9. Jarrod Bahlman, Jacob King, Jacob Meagrant, and Isaiah Zaragoza all had hits. For MC Sport Tommy Haddock pitched excellent going 5 innings striking out 12. Seth Hornsby, Tommy Haddock, Austin Tyrakowski had hits and Owen Weiss hit a home run over the right field fence.

Kan Vending 22, Quality Concrete Lifting 7
Kan Vending defeated Quailty Concrete Lifting early Saturday morning with all nine players scoring at least once. Kan was led by Jacob Janeczek 4r, Danny Walter 3r, Matt Clark 3r, Nic Stuzinski 3r, Tony Mata 3r. Derek Wentworth pounded out a double and triple. Nic Studzinski and Danny Walter pitched for Kan. QCL were led by Drew Schultz and Dennis Fau. Special thanks to Troy Baseball, for getting your field playable.

A 6-run rally in the 7th inning lifted DBS to victory in an exciting late night game. Colin Davis and Morgan Ferguson doubled and singled, while Tommy Craig, Chris Valle and Jaaron Jaakkola all added clutch hits. Nathaniel Magolan was the winning pitcher. For Quality Concrete, T. Zukauskas had two hits. J. Anczerewicz, D. Shultz, T. Holtz and D. Fau added hits.

Kan Vending 18, Private Bank 5
Kan Vending was led by Matt Clark and Danny Walter scoring 4 runs each. Tony Mata had a triple, double and 5rbi's. The speedy Derek Wenthworth legged out a pair of triples. Nic Studzinski, Jacob Janeczek, Alec Salomon, Christian Sasso, and Jacob Havard also scored for Kan. Private bank was led by Oliva and Witerbottom with multiple hits and runs scored.

Alex Roop led Storage with 2 inside the park home runs(5RBI) and a single. Jordan Jaakkola, Jonathan Studer, and Joseph Ambrozich helped out with 2 hits each. Jon Mirabal(2IP 3K's), Pete Klepec(2IP 5K), and Zack Kijowski(1IP 2K) pitched for Storage. While Nic Studzinski gave a great effort pitching the whole game for Kan Vending in 95 degree temps. Joe Pena had a hit and Christian Jasso scored Kan's run.

With a great display of pitching and defense from both teams this was a nail-biter. In the 7th inning JM Printers was down by 1 with two outs and the tying run on 3rd. The runner tried to steal home on a passed pitch but a great hustle by catcher Trent Holtz got the runner out at the plate. GREAT GAME.

For Stoeage, Joseph Ambrozich and Aidan Polaine had 3 hits a piece. While Jacob Fuller had 2 doubles, Jonathan Studer 2 hits and a walk, and Pete Klepec 2 hits. Studer started on the hill and got the win. For Shorewood, who played all the way till the final out, Black and Breitbarth had 2 hits each. Torres, Pena, Tesdal, Russo, and Erdey all had hits. Breitbarth also pitched 4 innings.

The Storage guys were lead by the trio of Jordan Jaakola(3-4,double), Peter Klepec(3-4, 3RBI), and Aidan Polaine(3-4, triple,3RBI). Steven Schimanski was 2-4(triple),RBI and made 2 web gems at shortstop. 7 players took the ball for an inning allowing 2 hits. As for Paradise Gonzalez and Carlson(run) had hits. Meagrant & Toth scored runs while Zarazoga and Bragg pitched all 7 innings striking out 12 only 4 BB total, and a couple baserunners picked off.

For the Fat Boyz it was an uplifting win after losing a few games in a row. The pitcher Alec Hartsell and Tyler Carlson held Kan Vending down with great pitches. Lakota, Carlson, Diaz, Hartsell, Ban, Wytrwal all had hits for the Boyz. Kan Vending had some great defensive plays.

Drew Schultz pitched a perfect game. No walks, no hits, and only 69 pitches in 7 innings.(63 Strikes + 6 balls total) Great Job!!!! Casey Orihuela, Trent Holtz Trevor Zukauskas, all contributed with hits.

Aidan Polaine pitched 4I(9K's) and Peter Klepec 2I(3K's)0 runs. For the Concrete guys Trent Holtz had 2 hit's and 2 run's scored and Drew Schultz pitched 4I(4K's). This was a great baseball game for both teams. Hitting, fielding, pitching it was there and gone. It seemed as if every inning was a roller coaster for both sides. This team meets again at Minooka this Monday for hopefully another great baseball game.

Zachary Reese, Anthony Takarczyk, and Dylan Smith had hits, while Nick Quattrochi scored a run and drew a BB.

In a well played game on both sides, Storage was able to hold off Don's, despite a late rally. Leading Storage to victory, Jon Mirabal reached base all 4 times up with 3 hits and a walk. Aidan Polaine was 2-3 with a walk, hitting a bomb for a home run. Jonathan Studer (2IP) 0 runs, Jacob Fuller (2IP)3k's, Joseph Ambrozich (2IP) 0 runs,pitched allowing only 1 walk combined. Austin Atwood was 3-3 for Don's, and Colin Davis pitched 4 solid innings.

A strong Monday afternoon by the Minooka Fat Boyz 14 -3 over the Minooka Private Bank. Fat Boyz pitcher Alec Hartsell had a no-no going into the the fourth inning and continued strong with 14 total K's. Hitting and basebunning was backed by the entire Fat Boyz team. Private Bank had some great baserunning and some great defensive plays in the field.

Drew Schultz with another great day of pitching and a hit for a double. Trent Holtz had (2) 1ST base hits. Dennis Fau with a base hit. Nate Sampson also with a base hit. The entire team fielded and backed up plays which contributed to the victory over MC Sports.
